Clear stamping tips for beginners
I am going to share some tips for clear stamping for beginners. The supplies you are going to need is paper, ink, acrylic block to hold the stamps when stamping. The acrylic blocks come in a variety of sizes and it all depends on the size of stamps you are using. I have both a small one and a larger one and love them. You will also need baby wipes to clean the stamps off while some people use warm water and soap to clean them I found that it didn’t work well and that baby wipes got them cleaner and clear stamps.
First pick the stamp you want to use and stick it to the small acrylic block. Once the stamp is stuck to the acrylic block I ink it up using your ink pad making sure that the entire stamp gets covered. After the whole stamp is covered, then stamp it on the paper. When stamping it on the paper make sure to add pressure to get a clear image. Unfortunately if the images doesn’t stamp well you are going to have to start over and stamp a whole new image because there is no way to properly line it up again. Although for someone who does a lot of stamping there is a tool called the Misti and it allows you to re ink the image and stamp in the same spot.
As always a list of the products used and mentioned in this video will be listed down below
